Coach Courtney Genovese played Division I lacrosse at Coastal Carolina where she served as a captain as well. Upon graduating, she stayed on as an assistant to the Associate Athletic Director.

Coach Courtney later moved on to Aurora University where completed her master’s degree and served as a graduate assistant for their Division III program.

Upon completion of her degree she returned to Maryland and joined True Lacrosse Club, serving as the Director of their girls program for the Mid Atlantic region. When True decided to dissolve their Mid Atlantic teams last summer, Coach Courtney joined the Crush coaching staff.
